Flash Dryer

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Flash Dryer

This equipment is used to dry moist powders. Air is heated to pre-desired temperatures and introduced on the wet feed; heat is used for drying and the air for pneumatically conveying the dry powder, which gets collected into cyclones and bag filters.

This is a system in which the product to be dried is fed by means of a screw conveyor into the flash drying venturi. The high-velocity drying air passes through the venturi comes in contact with the feed product and accelerates the product through the drying duct. The entire drying process takes place while the product travels through the duct and the dried product is separated from the air by a high-efficiency cyclone separator and Bag filters.

WHAT WE ARE

Follow the way of innovation with us.

We render our maximum efforts to fulfil customer requirement in achieving best quality with best competitive price.

Flash dryers are the most economical for drying solids that have been de-watered or inherently have a low moisture content. Also known as “pneumatic dryers,” they are the simplest gas suspension dryers with the smallest footprint. A single operation provides mixing, heat transfer, and mass transfer to dry a solid. The residence time within the dryer is very short, usually less than three seconds, producing almost immediate surface drying.

Flash Dryer Features :

Working Principle :

The working principle of a flash dryer involves three essential stages: drying, separation, and collection.

Step 1 : Drying Stage
The wet material is introduced into the flash dryer through a feed mechanism, such as a rotary valve or screw feeder. Simultaneously, high-velocity hot air, heated by a heat source like a gas burner or electric heater, enters the drying chamber. The hot air creates a turbulent environment, rapidly evaporating the moisture from the wet material.

Step 2 : Separation Stage
As the moisture evaporates, it forms a mixture with the hot air, resulting in a humid gas stream. The mixture enters a separation device, typically a cyclone separator or bag filter, where the moisture-laden air is separated from the dried material. The separated air is discharged through an exhaust system, while the dried material continues to the collection stage.

Step 3 :Collection Stage
In the collection stage, the dried material is collected in a hopper or other suitable container. Depending on the specific application, additional equipment such as a rotary valve or pneumatic conveyor may be employed to transfer the dried material for further processing or storage.

Fully Automatic Flash Dryer

Fully Automatic Flash Dryer :

A fully automatic flash dryer is an advanced drying system designed to remove moisture from solid materials quickly and efficiently. It combines cutting-edge technology, precise controls, and automated features to streamline the drying process. Compared to semi-automatic or manual systems, fully automatic flash dryers offer increased efficiency, productivity, and ease of operation.

Fully automatic flash dryers operate based on the same fundamental principles as other flash drying systems. Wet material is introduced into the dryer, and hot air is rapidly circulated through the drying chamber. The hot air comes into direct contact with the wet material, causing moisture evaporation. The resulting humid air is separated from the dried material, and the dried material is collected for further processing or storage.

Features of Fully Automatic Flash Dryers :

Fully automatic flash dryers are equipped with several key features that enable their efficient and automated operation:
  • PLC Control System
  • Touchscreen Interface
  • Automated Feeding Mechanism
  • Advanced Airflow Control
  • Moisture Sensing and Control
  • Application of Fully Automatic Flash Dryers :

Fully automatic flash dryers find applications in various industries, including:
  • Food Industry
  • Pharmaceutical Industry
  • Chemical Industry
  • Minerals and Aggregates Industry
  • Semi Automatic Flash Dryer

    Semi Automatic Flash Dryer :

A semi-automatic flash dryer is a specialized drying system that combines automated features with manual control. It enables operators to optimize the drying process by adjusting parameters such as feed rate, temperature, and residence time. Semi-automatic flash dryers offer flexibility and efficiency, making them suitable for various industrial applications.

Semi-automatic flash dryers operate based on the same fundamental principles as other flash drying systems. Wet material is introduced into the dryer, and hot air is rapidly circulated through the drying chamber. The hot air comes into direct contact with the wet material, causing moisture evaporation. The resulting humid air is separated from the dried material, and the dried material is collected for further processing or storage.

Features of Semi Automatic Flash Dryers :

Semi-automatic flash dryers offer several advantages that make them a preferred choice in various industries:
  • Flexibility and Control
  • Cost-Effectiveness
  • Ease of Use
  • Versatility
  • Application of Semi Automatic Flash Dryers :

Semi-automatic flash dryers find applications in various industries, including:
