The latent heat transfers to the liquid, causing it to evaporate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Vapor Recompression: <\/strong>In each subsequent effect, vapor from the previous stage acts as the heating medium.<br>This vapor condenses on the heat exchanger surface, transferring heat to the liquid in the current effect. The vapor is then recompressed and passed to the next effect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Concentrated Liquid Collection: <\/strong>As the evaporation process continues, the liquid in the final effect becomes highly concentrated.
